“Far East Table Tennis Championship” was Held Successfully
On November 17, 2017, Far EastGlobal Group’s (refer as FEGG) “Far East Table Tennis Championship” was heldsuccessfully at the Huangpu Workers Stadium in Shanghai. This event wasorganized by FEGG’s Administration Department and undertook by subsidiaryNetfortune (Shanghai), with the aim to enhance our corporate culture’s healthyand multiple development, build a communication platform for subsidiaries. FEGG’sExecutive Director, Vice Chairman and CEO, Mr. Zhu Yijian, Vice President, Mr.Sun Xinggen, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Tan Yong, management andcoworkers from five subsidiaries anticipated in this competition.
This championship continued thetheme of “To work collaboratively, to live healthy” and gathered 5 differentteams from Hong Kong and Macau, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hunan and Xi’an. In orderto encourage each team’s strategy use and team spirit, this championship wasranked by groups’ total score of men’s single, men’s double, women’s single,women’s double and mix, including round-robin and finals.
At 8:00am in the morning, theopening started along each teams’ presentation, speeches of the representativeplayer and representative judge, and Mr. Zhu’s opening speech. Mr. Zhu statedthat this championship was not just a sports event, but a chance for all of usto work collaboratively and a cultural inspiration. The 19th Meeting of the Chinese Communist Party has been held successfully, whichrepresents the Socialism with Chinese characteristics is entering a new era. Atthe same time, FEGG is transforming its business. In order to develop steadilyin this developing era, we must keep improving in multiple directions,including cultural strength. Mr. Zhu required that all management must be rolemodel to get involved with, employees should be actively participated, and allFar East people should “Never forget our first intention, and keep moving forward”,and to carry out FEGG’s healthy sustainable development. By the end of theopening ceremony, VIP guests kicked off the first ball for the championship.
During the game, some playerswere skilled and met their competitors, some players were not experienced asothers but still cheered together. All players showed the “To workcollaboratively, to live healthily” corporate spirit, earned cheers andapplause. Moreover, twelve cheerleaders’ entertaining performance added lots ofexcitement to the event. After intense competitions, the Shenzhen Team won theChampionship, the Hong Kong and Macau Team won the runner-up, and the ShanghaiTeam won the third place. The Leaders’ Team played a performance game alongeach team. At 5:00pm, the championship ended with a short but heart warmingclosing ceremony, all wining teams were awarded cups and certificates.
For this championship,subsidiaries from each city got to interact with others, strengthenedcommunication and friendship. All participants understood the importance ofcommunication through collaboration and felt the warmth of other coworkers. Wewish all employees to learn from this event and put this sports spirit intodaily work.
